ChargeNest

EV route planner

Plan an electric road trip across Pakistan. Pick your start, destination and car — we'll suggest charging stops, how long you'll charge and roughly what it will cost.

How the route planner works

Route & distance

We estimate the road route between your start and destination along Pakistan's main motorway and highway corridors.

Charging stops

Using your car's usable battery and real-world consumption, we pick listed DC chargers along the way so you never drop below your minimum battery.

Reliability first

Stations with better reliability scores and recent positive check-ins are preferred, with a backup suggested nearby where one exists.

Frequently asked questions

Can I drive an EV from Karachi to Lahore?

Yes, but plan ahead. The route is over 1,200 km and DC fast chargers are still sparse on some stretches of the N-5 and M-5. Use the planner with your car's real battery size, check each suggested station's reliability and recent check-ins, and keep a generous buffer.

How accurate is the route plan?

It is an estimate based on typical real-world consumption for your car, listed charger locations and power, and your battery settings. Speed, air-conditioning, weight, weather and hills all change consumption. Charger availability is not live.

Why does the planner charge to 80%?

Most EVs charge fastest between about 10% and 80%; after that charging slows sharply. Stopping more often and charging to 80% is usually quicker overall. You can raise the limit to 90% or 100% when chargers are far apart.

What happens if a charger isn't working when I arrive?

Where possible we suggest a backup station near each stop. Before you travel, open each station page to check its reliability score and recent community check-ins, and call the operator if you can.
