Lahore has more EV charging listings than any other city on ChargeNest. As of November 2026, our map shows 25 charging locations in Lahore. They range from 180 kW fast chargers at fuel stations to small 7 kW points at hotels and cafes.

A note on listings: ChargeNest station listings come from the community and from operators. Before you drive to one, open its station page and look at the last verified time, the opening hours and any recent check-ins.

Lahore charging at a glance

Charger type What it means for you Lahore listings
DC fast (50 kW and above) Adds a lot of range in roughly 20–45 minutes 15

AC and low-power points (7–22 kW) Slow; best while you eat, shop or stay 7
Power not listed yet Check the station page 2

The lowest listed prices at Lahore stations run from about Rs 89 to Rs 120 per kWh. A kWh is one "unit" of electricity, the same unit you see on your LESCO bill. Prices change often, so confirm the current rate on the station page.

DC fast vs AC: what's the difference?

  • DC fast chargers feed power straight into the battery. Nearly all of Lahore's fast chargers use the CCS2 plug, the most common standard on new EVs in Pakistan. A few also offer CHAdeMO or CCS1.
  • AC chargers (usually a Type 2 plug) charge through your car's built-in charger, which often tops out around 7–11 kW. They are fine for a few hours of parking, but not for a quick stop.
  • The kW number is the charger's maximum. Your car may take less. A car that accepts 60 kW will not charge faster at a 180 kW unit.

Practical tips for charging in Lahore

  • Check before you go. Open the station page and look at the last verified time and recent check-ins.
  • Have a plan B. DHA and Cantt have several fast chargers close together. The west and south (Thokar, Bahria Town, Lake City) have fewer, so know your second option.
  • Stop at about 80% on fast chargers. Charging slows down a lot near full, and someone else may be waiting.
  • Expect slower charging on very hot days. In peak summer, a hot battery may accept less power. Charging in the evening can help.
  • Bring your own cable for AC points. Some Type 2 points have no cable attached.
  • Charge at home when you can. Home charging usually costs the least. See our home charging guide and work out your numbers with the charging cost calculator.
  • Found a charger we're missing? Add it through submit a station.
