EV charging in Hazara & Kaghan

The gateway to Kaghan Valley, Naran and Shogran. Abbottabad and Balakot have the last chargers we know of before the mountain road to Naran, so treat them as your last charge point.

Tips for this trip

  • Balakot is the last town where we list a charger before Kaghan. We have no confirmed public charger in Naran yet, so arrive with a full battery and ask your hotel about charging.
  • Carry your own portable Type 2 charger and a long, good-quality extension cable. A hotel with a normal socket can still help you over a night.
  • Mountain roads can close because of weather or landslides. Check the road status before you leave and have a plan for a long wait.
  • Cold weather reduces range. In winter, allow extra margin.

General guidance, not a guarantee. Conditions, roads and chargers change, so check before you travel.
